Breaking Bad fans: rejoice!

Have you been in mourning since Breaking Bad ended last year? Have you been wandering around in despair since, mumbling to whoever cared to listen that “there would never be a show this good ever again”?

It’s now time to rejoice! We are just a few weeks away from the premiere of the Breaking Bad spin-off, “Better Call Saul”!

Set in 2002, the new show focuses on the life of small-time lawyer Saul Goodman (or “Jimmy McGill” as he was known at the time) (Bob Odenkirk)  six years before his appearance on Breaking Bad, though events during and after the original series will also be explored

Sadly it has been confirmed that there wouldn’t be any appearances from Jesse Pinkman or Walter White in the first season, but since the show has already been renewed for a second season, we can’t rule out a cameo from either of the two characters.

However, if we’re not going to see him in front of the camera, Bryan Cranston (who plays Walter White) will be directing one episode of the show.

Mike Ehrmantraut, on the other hand, will be a series regular.
