Your first stop should be the city’s biggest department store, Galeries Lafayette, who’s joined in on the worldwide Star Wars craze !
Wednesday, the Galerie unveiled its cosmic Christmas window display, with an amazing outdoor show in front of the Opera Garnier:
So you missed the show, but the window display is on until the end of December.
The department store is also hosting a special “Star War legion” exhibition that displays “reinvented” stormtrooper helmets, made by various French artists (cartoonists, tattoo artists, and even a baker!)
In the store you’ll also find some unique Star Wars clothing, made by the French Fashion Institute.
Your next stop is the Galerie Sakura, where you’ll find a special Star Wars exhibition with surprising and intriguing offbeat art pieces: pictures, paintings and sculptures!
And finally, remember that The Force Awakens will be released in France on December, 16th , 2 days ahead of the US, so if you want to be amongst the first to watch it…. get your beret ready!
